Adam Biskupski

Adam is a freelance [film] editor who got his first taste for storytelling at the age of four: drawing superman comics on yellow flip-pads. He skipped further education & gained production experience on film sets in the US & UK before settling in the editing room. He gravitates towards bold stories with strong visual settings.

In 2012 he edited the BAFTA winning short film SWIMMER directed by Lynne Ramsay, commissioned by FILM4 & BBC FILMS for the Olympics. He followed that up with EKKI MUKK which won Best UK Short at the London Short Film Festival.

His 1st assistant editor credits include Lynne Ramsay’s WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN, nominated for a PALME D’OR at Cannes, MR NICE, and the Sundance Grand Jury Prize nominee, UNMADE BEDS.

He edited DEAD HAPPY alongside Rachel Tunnard, which won the SKY Movies/Independent BEST SHORT competition in 2010, has cut promos for BBH/TheMill, and has guest-edited directing course shorts at the NFTS.

He loves to pick up a camera, be it still or moving, and has written & directed the occasional short.

UNTITLED Documentary

I’m currently working on an as yet untitled short documentary with an interesting take on A.I with huge implications, directed by the multi-talented Rollo Hollins.

A teaser trailer is on the way in due course as we progress, but suffice to say it’s a touching story with a fascinating scientific context.

It’s not this….or could it be?
